Founder & CEO
Matthew has a breadth of experience across multiple disciplines and business sectors, from engineer to executive, from aerospace to maritime, from flight test to electronics design. This has allowed him to gain a lot of expertise, both new and novel as well as tried and tested. It has also allowed him to see what works and what does not, and how to apply this knowledge to new and diverse problems across a range of teams and complexities.

Matthew began his career in flight test, determining the flight envelopes of rotary wing aircraft. At the same time he was training the next generation of flight test professionals at the Empire Test Pilots School using novel simulation techniques. This then transitioned into a role determining UAV design and efficacy, before moving onto running the design and acceptance of the UK’s new fighter’s prototype sensors and effectors suite as part of the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP). The latter involved leading the adoption of a new simulation focused continuous integration and development paradigm across the business.
CTO & Lead Consultant
Philip has spent over a decade working on the design, test, and validation of complex electronic and aerial systems. He has led teams, designed novel test solutions (both hardware and software) and has met design, customer and organisational challenges head on with excellence and professionalism. Philip is proficient at solving challenges that arise during the process of bringing a new product to market and meeting the customer's needs.

Phil initially started his career designing 19" test racks for component and subsystem testing as part of a Ground Based Air Defence (GBAD) programme. After 2 years of this, he moved on to power supply design, subsystem integration and full system testing, specialising in RF safety testing and EMC qualification, during which he spent 4 years seeing the same GBAD programme through to final delivery to the customer. Since then, he's further expanded his RF expertise into passive seeker design and airborne sensor management, including substantial simulation, modelling, and digital integration work using a synthetic environment and software emulation to pioneer a digital first approach as part of GCAP.
